Den Europæiske Filmhøjskole
Den europæiske Filmhøjskole ser det levende ord og det levende billede som de vigtigste indgange til forståelse af vor tid. Vi optager elever fra hele Europa; halvdelen dog fra Danmark. Du skal være fyldt 19 år og kunne modtage undervisning på engelsk.
Fag og emner
Alle fag rummer både en teoretisk og en praktisk del. Du skal således både lytte, læse, skrive, se film og diskutere, men du skal også producere video i studier og i marken.
Filmhøjskolen er ikke nogen alternativ filmskole. Du kan ikke specialisere dig i eet bestemt fagområde, men derimod skaffe dig et bredt kendskab til Europa og til levende billeder.
Eight and a half month program schedule
Over the course of the 34-week program, you will take part in various film projects, working in crews with other students in a process that is very similar to how the film industry works.
You will perform different roles from one project to the next – as cinematographer, screenwriter, director, editor, etc.
We will present the framework and general theme of most projects – could be a music video, an adaptation or a documentary.
Apart from this, you also get an opportunity to make your own film – under the guidance of your teachers and in collaboration with your student partners.

European Film College is one of the world's best equipped film preschools. All students have access to all the facilities with only a few restrictions.
Sports
Every year we form our own softball-league to make a thrilling tournament.
We have an arrangement with the local fitness-centre offering memberships at reduced prices to college students and the public swimming pool (indoor) is a two-minutes walk from the college.
The surroundings of the college are ideal for both running, hiking, cycling and perhaps even winter-bathing!
On campus we have basketball and volleyball courts.
